    The championship South Course is a Rees Jones design boasting 46 bunkers, multiple water hazards and challenging landscape placement.  Ranging from 5,039 yards to 7,297 tips, the par-72 course is designed to accommodate players of all levels from amateur to professional. Originally opened in 1902, Bayou Oaks has been a favorite golf choice for locals and visitiors alike for 125 years.  Golfers will feel comfort in the new Clubhouse including a large, fully-stocked Pro Shop, The Grill for cold beverages and extensive menu and locker rooms equipped with showers and secure lockers.

This championship golf course meets the highest course conditions, and is a grand representation of the natural local habitat. The golf course is part of the Audubon Golf Trail and a proud member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary program – providing a landscape that many have compared to a private nature reserve.

     

    The golf course layout incorporates stately stands of cypress and oak trees – Pete Dye adding plenty of water hazards and bunkers to make for a highly interesting game. The golf course features over 100 bunkers as well as five ponds, which come into play. There are five sets of tees at TPC Louisiana ranging from 5,121 yards from the front/women’s tees to 7,400 yards from the tips, which will test golfers of all skill levels, including the PGA Tour's finest each Spring!

    TPC Louisiana boasts a series of short but compelling par-4 holes to balance the longer ones and delivers a great blend of challenge and playability. The signature hole on the golf course is the par-5, 18th hole. Water is in play for the entire right side of the hole, making for a challenging finish for golfers of all skill levels.

Generous Bermuda fairways surround Bermuda greens, with 40 strategically placed bunkers and several forced carries over wetlands and water creating both an exhilarating challenge and a splendid backdrop for golf. While challenging enough to test the mettle of scratch golfers, the multiple sets of tees on each hole help new and less experienced golfers enjoy the subtle nuances and design elements.

    English Turn Golf & Country Club is a Jack Nicklaus design that was opened in 1988 to host the New Orleans PGA Tour event.  Nicklaus designed the course to be enjoyed equally by spectators, professional golfers, club members and guests - incorporating gallery berms throughout and plenty of play challenge.  The design is known for its undulatiing greens, very unique 18 holes, strategically placed bunker, waste areas and sloping grass swales.  There is carefully sculpted mounding along edges of fairways  and water comes into play on most holes.  English Turn's signature hole -15th, is an incredible par-5 with an island green and perfect risk/reward play option.  But the 18th, a par-4 with water bordering the left side, will test golfers of all levels as well.
