English Turn Country Club

English Turn Golf & Country Club is a Jack Nicklaus design that was opened in 1988 to host the New Orleans PGA Tour event.  Nicklaus designed the course to be enjoyed equally by spectators, professional golfers, club members and guests - incorporating gallery berms throughout and plenty of play challenge.  The design is known for its undulatiing greens, very unique 18 holes, strategically placed bunker, waste areas and sloping grass swales.  There is carefully sculpted mounding along edges of fairways  and water comes into play on most holes.  English Turn's signature hole -15th, is an incredible par-5 with an island green and perfect risk/reward play option.  But the 18th, a par-4 with water bordering the left side, will test golfers of all levels as well.
