When you walk the fairways at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa you are walking the same fairways that the legends of the game have walked for over 30 years. La Costa was most recently the home of the World Golf Championships - Accenture Match Play Championship. The two PGA Championship 18-hole golf courses are both beautiful and traditional in design. Both courses challenge golfers' shot-making ability, both off the tee, and around the greens. Four sets of tees provide a golf course length for all players to enjoy.

Ranked in the top 100 courses in the U.S. by Golf Magazine This exceptional design by Dick Wilson has been known to be a little more difficult than the North Course. Although it is slightly shorter most people find the narrow fairways and the first five holes to be arduous. A narrow creek that winds through this course comes into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Finishing on the same 9 holes that the PGA Tour finishes on is a nice experience while at the same time a difficult one considering the PGA Tour nickname for the final 5 holes on the South Course is the "longest mile" on the PGA Tour.

The North Course offers several holes that are situated high atop the bluffs overlooking the coastline. The Torrey Pines North course is shorter than Torrey Pines South course, but many will say the North is the more scenic of the two, and offer a better variety of hole design.

Recently renovated Torrey Pines South Course boasts dramatic coastline views as well as some of the most challenging golf in the country. In 2001, renowned golf course designer Rees Jones set his signature upon the course and the accolades on his work have not stopped since. Now, 7607 tremendous yards in length, the Torrey Pines South Course will host the 2008 United States Open Championship. Both North and South courses also host the annual Buick Invitational on the PGA TOUR.

If there’s a golfing nirvana, this is it. The 18-hole championship course is crisscrossed with old-growth trees providing a dramatic canopy of shade and sun-dappled light throughout. Modern with pedigree, it was designed by William Francis Bell in 1964 and has the unique distinction of hosting both PGA and LPGA events. Pristine and playable, the most talked about hole is the undulating 18th.
