Designed by renowned architect David McLay-Kidd, and officially open since October 2023, the 18-hole course has characteristics that make it truly unique: its organic design - which respects the curves of the dunes and nature - and the quality of its maintenance and customer service.
The uniqueness of the Dunas Golf Course was immediately recognized and in its opening year it received the award for "Best New Golf Course in the World and Europe" at the World Golf Awards 2023 and was ranked 9th in the respected Golf World magazine 's "100 Best Golf Courses in Continental Europe" for 2023-2024. The feature hole of the front nine is the 3rd, a 144m Par 3 off the yellow tees to an island green, with the stunning Obidos lagoon in the background.
