This Rees Jones design has been voted one of the top 20 courses in the Carolinas and most recently was awarded Low Country Golf Course Owners Association "2006 Golf Club of the Year". Oyster Reef Golf Club has also been named as one of the "Top 75 U.S. Golf Resorts" by Golf Digest and was named as the favorite course of Hilton Head Island golfers by The Island Packet.
