While you may come at any time between the hours specified here, you will have an easier time being assigned a court if you come between 11am-5pm.

The Embarcadero 'Marina' Park Pier or South Embarcadero Park Pier is located over the bay's mud bottom which makes it ideal for fishing. It’s a great spot to fish because of the eel grass. Feel like climbing the walls? This is the place for you. Novice or expert, this cavernous building is lined with plenty of rock walls and boulder problems to challenge you to a personal best. It's safe enough for children, yet demanding enough for outdoor rock climbers. A constantly changing climbing terrain allows repeat visitors to try new rock arrangements and skill challenges. Classes are offered and group facility rentals are available.

Offering more sport fishing options than anywhere else in San Diego County, this establishment provides half-day, 3/4-day, all-day and multi-day trips. Patrons may charter an individual boat or participate in a trip with other devoted fishermen. For those who want a daring experience, shark trips are available. These nighttime expeditions will take you in search of blues and makos. If you catch one, be prepared to use some muscle as these sharks often take over one hour to reel onboard. Before casting your line however, don't forget to obtain a license. This establishment sells the California State Fishing License, required for anyone aged 16 and older.

With a 10,000 square-foot climbing surface, the indoor arena has climbing options that are appropriate for beginners as well as more challenging courses for experts.
