A daily fee course located off Hwy 87 north of Southern Pines and opened in July 2001. This new course designed by Davis Love was fashioned as a traditional course and influenced by Donald Ross designs. "It's the best set of greens we've built and there isn't a weak hole on the course. We want to be a course that is affordable and above average in the golf experience", Love said.

Legacy Golf Links has been selected as the host site for the 2000 U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship.
