Explore the rich heritage of San Antonio through the historic Alamo. This famous historical site served as the home to missionaries for almost 70 years. It was also said that about a hundred Mexican soldiers defended the fort for 13 days. Up to date, the Long barrack and the chapel are among the existing remains that now serves a museum where relics from the era are preserved.

Meet famous celebrities, heroes, and other fictional icons through the displays of Ripley’s Believe It Or Not / Plaza Theatre of Wax. The place offers shocking displays of wax mannequins of people and fictional characters that you might not heard about. The creepy character of Frankenstein and Dracula still catches the attention of the kids as well as the horror movie fanatics.

Take a hike or bike around San Antonio’s largest and most popular park – the McAllister Park. The 25 miles of trails are just perfect for the entire family to spend a great day outdoors exploring nature and its wildlife. The place also features dozens of athletic grounds suitable for rounds of baseball and soccer. Camping though is not permitted inside the park.
