Located within the authentic 1856 May-Stinger house, the museum is home to over 11,000 artifacts, including authentic war memorabilia and 19th century school room. The Heritage Museum is also home to the Brooksville Raid, voted the best and largest Civil War Reenactment by the Florida Reenactors. TIP: If you're brave enough, take the candlelit ghost tour available on Friday and Saturday evenings. It is said that the building is haunted by John May's three year old daughter.
