Dormie Golf Club Golf Packages
Dormie has been put at the top of everybody's list of must play courses in the "Home of American Golf". In 2014 the course was named one of the Top 100 "Best Modern Courses" and ranked #3 on Golfweek's "Best Courses You Can Play in North Carolina". Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw's first original layout in the Tar Heel State is just a short drive north of the Village of Pinehurst where they recently completed the restoration of the Pinehurst Resort's storied No. 2 course. History was made in 2014 as No. 2 was the first ever site to host the Men's and Women's United States Open Championships in back-to-back weeks. The renowned architectural team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw selected 307 of the site's 1,028 acres to route 18 magical holes. There are no housing or artificial roadways within the golf course perimeter. The par 71 course can play 6,984 yards, but has only 68 acres of managed grass. The balance of the site is maintained in natural sand "floors", wire grasses, pine trees and vegetation native to the Sandhills region. In addition to the golf course, Dormie's Members and Guests enjoy a cozy 2,500 sq. ft. temporary clubhouse which includes men's and women's locker rooms, golf shop and comfortable living, bar and dining rooms. A wood-burning fireplace and back porch seating complete the rustic atmosphere of this former hunting lodge.
Mid Pines Golf Course Golf Packages
The Mid Pines course remains exactly as Donald Ross numbered and routed the course in 1921. Impeccably manicured to modern standards, Mid Pines is a classic gem, a rarity among Ross's masterpieces because it is exactly as he crafted it more than 88 years ago. Even so, Mid Pines has played host to many national competitions, including a Senior Women's Amateur Championship. Many people have characterized the course as "pure Donald Ross" because of how it fits the land where it was built. It has few forced carries, artificial or contrived holes. It's been said that Mid Pines was never conceived as a daunting task to the finest players competing under championship conditions...Mid Pines was intended simply as a fun course with adequate challenge for members and guests of a private club and resort.

Pine Needles Golf Course Golf Packages
One of our two Silver Medal Resorts as awarded by GOLF Magazine, Pine Needles offers character, warmth and comfort. Built in the 1950's and nestled among towering longleaf pines, our chalet style lodges provide exceptional comfort with recently renovated rooms and all of the luxuries of home. Balconies and terraces allow you to gaze upon the championship course, a Donald Ross gem that was recently ranked #4 in North Carolina. After Pine Needles underwent an important restoration project from the watchful eye of Ross aficionado, John Fought. The greens were rebuilt, bunkers were dug out and fresh sand was installed. Contours and dimensions of greens were restored to their original forms as shown by a series of vintage aerial photos of the course, returning the course to its original glory. Following the restoration, the Pine Needles course measures more than 7,000 yards in length with some holes having been "stretched" to return the shot values that Donald Ross intended for this course. Fairway bunkers are now placed so that they serve as the kind of hazard that Ross intended for the tees.
