La Cantera - Palmer Course Golf Packages
The name says it all... The Palmer Course was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and the Palmer Course Design Co. And it certainly doesn't disappoint. The course, together with The Resort Course at La Cantera, were the first public courses in South Texas to provide 36 holes of championship golf designed by golfing legends. Pristinely perched on 225 acres, The Palmer Course offers 71 holes and 6,926 yards of golfing bliss. Given the spectacular scenery, it may be hard to keep your eye on the ball. Among its signature holes is the par 3 No. 4, boasting dramatic waterfalls along the entire front edge of the green and is connected to the fairway by the Winnie Palmer Memorial Bridge, a tribute to Palmer's late wife. Want to map out your strategy for each hole? No problem. All carts are equipped with a state-of-the-art ParView GPS system. Arnie himself played a six-hole exhibition on the course during the grand opening and unabashedly exclaimed, "The Palmer Course at La Cantera is one-of-a-kind and a first-class golfing experience."
La Cantera - Resort Course Golf Packages
Many golf courses could be described as "jaw-droppingly beautiful." But when The Resort Course opened, it's beauty was so highly regarded that it lured the historic Texas Open-one of the PGA Tour's oldest stops-to it's greens that very same year. Designed by noted golf course architect Jay Morrish and PGA Tour professional Tom Weiskopf, The Resort Course at La Cantera snakes through the Texas Hill Country, offering breathtaking views, the most notable being a sheer 80-foot drop from the 7th tee to the fairway. The par-72 course was quickly named one of the Top 10 public access golf courses in the United States by Golf Magazine and one of the best new courses by Golf Digest.
TPC Oaks - Greg Norman/Sergio Garcia Golf Packages
Current PGA Tour player Sergio Garcia lent his unique perspective in assisting celebrated golfer and renowned golf course architect Greg Norman with the design of the par-72, 7,522-yard AT&T Oaks Course. Like Dye, Norman's design philosophy is underscored by environmental sensitivity and a deep reverence for nature. Great care has been taken to incorporate the distinct nuances and indigenous flora of the natural Hill Country topography into the course design, to create a compelling, strategically diverse and strikingly beautiful course for golfers of all skill levels. "The topographic subtleties of the rolling Texas Hill Country terrain, framed by magnificent stands of mature live oaks, create a pristine natural setting that is as playable as it is beautiful." - Greg Norman ** Host of the PGA Tour's Valero Texas Open **
TPC Canyons - Pete Dye Golf Packages
Working with PGA TOUR player consultant Bruce Lietzke, Pete Dye crafted the par-72, 7,406-yard AT&T Canyons Course in the old style, keeping the terrain completely natural. Numerous environmental elements distinct to the Texas Hill Country were incorporated into the course design, with Dye's signature wide fairways, stately stands of oak and cedar trees, and panoramic views of the adjacent Cibolo Canyons creating a breathtakingly beautiful and enjoyable challenge for scratch golfers and novices alike. "With the goal of crafting a course that fits harmoniously with its surroundings, we took full advantage of the dramatic vistas, indigenous flora and beautiful rolling terrain to create a memorable golf experience for members and resort guests." - Pete Dye ** Host of the PGA Tour's Valero Texas Open **
