Ardglass Golf Club is situated in County Down, on the east coast of Northern Ireland. They are
located just under 30 miles (1 hour) from Belfast and 100 miles (2 hours) from Dublin. With views of the
rugged and beautiful coastline from every hole and the majesty of the Mourne Mountains providing
the perfect backdrop, Ardglass has a true claim to be rated amongst the world’s most spectacular
links courses.
The course is a true test of golf, particularly on a windy day. The links hug the coastline, with no
fewer than 8 holes where the coastline of the Irish Sea comes into play. The same stretch of water
is visible from all 18 tees and greens and on a clear day it is possible to see the Isle of Man.
They also lay claim to the oldest clubhouse in the world, parts of which date back to the 13th
Century, where a warm welcome always awaits visitors.
