Featuring 18 holes of championship golf with five sets of tees, Sapelo Hammock was designed to satisfy the needs of golfers of any skill level. In fact, the layout was ranked among the "Top 100 Courses" by Golf for Women magazine. Built in 1999, Sapelo Hammock was the first solo effort of designer Rusty Simmons, who more than hit the mark his first time out. A beautiful coastal layout, Sapelo Hammock is located on a scenic bluff overlooking oak-lined fairways and lush, undulating greens. The course was built along 200 acres of beautiful marshes, stunning live oaks and loblolly Pine filled land. Located just off the scenic Sapelo River, the course offers so many beautiful vistas that it's often difficult for golfers to keep their mind on the round. |
