Canongate-on-White Oak first opened in 1986 with 18 holes. Additional nines were added in 1987 and 1990, giving members a total of 36 holes. Rocky Roquemore was the principal architect for the golf course, which is a favorite among members. This 36-hole club offers two distinct layouts. The Old Course, with its traditional layout, is highlighted by great elevation changes, tree-lined fairways and large greens, and serves as the home of the Women's Georgia Open. The Seminole course offers an enjoyable day for all golfers with unique holes, water, and bunkers coming into play throughout the golf course.
White Oak features a double-sided driving range with both mat and grass hitting areas, targets, and premium range balls, as well as a short game practice area. |
