The Cocoa Beach Country Club is located on a peninsula surrounded by the Banana River Lagoon at the western end on Minutemen Causeway in Cocoa Beach. The Course welcomes locals and visitors alike. There are three nine hole courses that provide an excellent variety for the recreational golfer. The Banana River and the seventeen lakes that are located on the golf course at the Cocoa Beach Country Club provide a habitat that attracts an abundance of waterfowl and other birds. The birds provide an enjoyable attraction for the golfers. Assigning a name to each golf hole is one of the oldest traditions in the game of golf. The Cocoa Beach Country Club has named each of its 27 golf holes after one of the predominant species of birds seen on the golf course. The scorecard and the granite tee signs portray the name of the bird for each golf hole. The waterfowl, other birds, the dolphins, alligators, turtles and raccoons make the Cocoa Beach Country Club a true habitat and wildlife sanctuary for the enjoyment of all golfers. Course features include putting greens, a driving range and a "19th hole" where you can get a bite to eat, a beverage of your choice and reminisce over the great golf shots you just made!

Baytree National ($$$)

Our par-72 course at Baytree National was built in 1992 and was laid out by the PGA's famous Black Knight, Gary Player. He created generous and playable fairways for this Signature Course, mounded on the sides with moguls in a link style. But no fairway here is lined up right next to another one. You're not going to have players on parallel fairways hitting into you at Baytree.

Playing at almost 7,200 yards from the tips, Baytree is peppered with 82 white sand bunkers and the unique red shale coquina waste areas that have helped make Florida golf famous. The greens are of varying shapes and sizes that allow difficult, as well as easily accessible pin placements. This course will definitely test your shot-making skills. You will walk away feeling that you have to return until you can conquer those lakes and wetlands on Player's exciting layout.

Duran Golf Club ($$$)

Duran Golf Club of Viera opened for business in the summer of 2005. The course is built on what was once a thriving cattle ranch and sod farm belonging to A. Duda & Sons Inc. - land that has been in the Duda family for five generations. On that land, we have created a unique course with gently undulating terrain. More than a million cubic yards of earth were moved and shaped to create a course with links characteristics, including rolling terrain and mounded greens. Some 15 ponds and lakes were created that add beauty and drama to almost every hole on the course.

Our landscaping has a natural feeling, featuring many native grasses from the area. Because of the former agricultural uses on the property, only one tree was standing here at the time that the building of the course began. So to give character and definition to the site, we imported several thousand native palms, oaks and cypresses to the golf course. Even with the addition of these beautiful trees, the fairways have a very open feeling, allowing players to swing freely off the tee.

The Majors Golf Club ($$$)

The Most Challenging Golf Course on Florida's Space Coast, The Majors Golf Club, an Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course is over 7,300 Yards from the Tips and Just Over 5,000 from the Front Tees. One of the most unspoiled semiprivate golf courses in Brevard County, The Majors Golf Club was designed through and around lakes, creeks, preservation areas and natural wetlands. Five minutes from I-95, The Majors is convenient from Vero Beach, Fort Pierce and NASA's launch pad.

Unlike other golf courses in the area and further south, The Majors has rolling hills and trees reminiscent of the Carolinas. There are some spectacular golf holes on this golf course, #1, #5, #7, #14 and the par 3 #15 island green are some of the best holes you'll play anywhere and the greens roll silky smooth. You'll know you're near the beach, the white sugar sand traps are perfect and there are several, The Majors has more bunkers than any other golf course in Brevard County. This is not a boring "out-and-back" golf course and it lives up to the excellence you would come to expect with the name Arnold Palmer attached.
