The Badlands possesses all the requisite features of an eminently difficult track and the architects have expertly integrated multiple tees on each hold to offer a course which can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. The Badlands offers three 9-hole courses to choose from: Desperado, Diablo and Outlaw.

The most recent course addition to the Paiute family, the theme here is "long," measuring 7511 yards from the back tees - intimidating for even the most skilled player. Along with the length, Dye made sure to cause problems for big hitters by utilizing the natural desert wash areas that surround the entire facility, thus requiring players to be long and accurate from the tee boxes to clear the ravines and find the short grass. The fairways are tight and the greens are small; there is simply very little room for error if you plan on scoring well at this course. However, for better players who demand the very best, the Paiute Wolf course delivers on every level.

The Snow Mountain course is the original and continues to receive reviews from major publications as the top golf course in the state. Golf Digest awarded the Snow Mountain course 4 1/2 stars, and the ranking could not be more deserved. This golf course is located on the Paiute Indian Reservation, which allows absolutely no development other than the golf courses themselves. You will not see a car, a home, or any other obstruction that deters from a truly wonderful golf experience.

Sun Mountain opened a year after the Snow Course, and is considered to be a "kindler, gentler" Pete Dye design. Don't believe it, this course is every bit as tough as its predecessor from the back tees, and challenges golfers with long, tight fairways that are immaculate every day of the year. The greens on both the Snow and Sun Mountain courses are always in perfect shape and will roll true if, that is, you have mastered the ability to read severe undulations and lightening quick putts.

Rio Secco's layout gives you three different looks. There are six holes on plateaus with breathtaking views of the city, six holes in a broad desert wash and six holes laid in step canyons. As play progresses, so does the challenge as the course weaves through the ever-changing terrain. The highlight of this 18-hole layout is the portion which overlooks Las Vegas.

By simply standing on the tee box, one can get an ideal panoramic view of everything the valley has to offer. Rio Secco Golf Club was designed and built in 1997 by golf course architect Rees Jones. Opened in 1996, TPC Las Vegas, which has hosted the SENIOR PGA TOUR's Las Vegas Classic in past years, is an integral part of the nation's largest master-planned community, Summerlin. Tuscany Golf Club is the newest course to arrive on the Las Vegas golf scene. Siena Golf Club in Summerlin features a well-planned residential golf course complimented by rolling fairways and greens. The 18-hole par 72, Schmidt-Curley designed championship course has 85 bunkers and six water hazards, making strategy, not distance, a priority. The Desert course opened in May 1998, this course features desert landscaping, providing a stark contrast to the almost tropical Lakes course. Somewhat more demanding of the player's ability, it measures 7,131 yards and a par of 72. The course is accented with palm and mesquite trees, colorful cactus and desert wildflowers to give it a true desert feeling. Where water was used on the Lakes Course, vast stretches of waste bunkers border the fairways on seven holes of the Desert Course. Water does come into play on five holes and narrow fairways with elevation changes and well- bunkered large greens will test even the best players.

Royal Links Golf Club was created to honor the rich tradition and history of the game of golf. It is one of the most unique playing experiences in the country. This Links style course faithfully recreates holes inspired by the British Open rotation such as "The Road Hole" and "Hell Bunker" from the old course at St. Andrews and "The Postage Stamp" from Royal Troon. Other courses in the loop include Carnoustie, Turnberry, Royal Liverpool, Prestwick, Royal Lytham, Muirfield and Royal Birkdale. Forecaddies are available and recommended as many of the holes are truly Scottish in design and flair, and have deep, hidden bunkers and hazards. Monuments were erected at various points throughout the course indicating spots where great moments in British Open history took place. A Champions Wall is erected near the practice green honoring American champions of the British Open. This isn't your typical round of golf, and whether you are into the history of the game or just want a shot at Tiger Woods course record of 67 (Feb., 2001), Royal Links will provide you with some very memorable golfing.
